Childcare Rounds (Ratio Walkthrough)
A childcare rounds, or ratio walkthrough, is a scheduled check of every room in a center that records student count, staff count, and whether the room is currently within its required staff-to-child ratio — logged as a single record instead of checked room by room from memory.
It's distinct from a general safety walkthrough: a ratio walkthrough is specifically about staffing math, checked against whichever ratio standard actually applies to that room — a per-staff ratio, a group-size standard, or both, since the two are alternative rules a room can fail independently.
